Host analytics

See how many people opened your programme, where they came from and what device they used, so you can tell whether the link reached the family. The numbers are anonymous: no names, no emails, no precise locations.

Opens are counted only for guests who accepted analytics, so treat them as a healthy lower bound rather than an exact figure.

What we count, and what we do not

We count anonymous opens, the referring site without its query string, a coarse device family, and the language a guest chose. We do not count, store or show names, email addresses, phone numbers, precise locations, or anything that could identify a single guest. We do not use a third-party advertising network, and we do not follow a guest to any other website. If a guest refuses analytics, their visit is not counted at all, which is why the numbers are a lower bound.

Reading the numbers honestly

A single guest who opens the programme three times counts as three opens, because we cannot tell one person from another without identifying them, and we have chosen not to. Use the trend, not the exact figure: a spike on the day you sent the WhatsApp message tells you the message landed, and a steady trickle afterwards tells you people are still finding it. If the errors figure is climbing, send us the programme link and we will look into it.

Privacy

Your host code is sent over an encrypted connection, checked on our server, and never stored in this browser or in the analytics records. The dashboard shows only aggregate counts for your own programme.
