Guest messages
A good message gets a programme opened. Start from a template, fill in the details, and send it by WhatsApp or email. Everything is written in plain language and is ready to translate into isiZulu, isiXhosa or Afrikaans.
Send to many guests
Paste one name and number per line, separated by a comma, and we will build a personal message for each guest. Nothing is sent from this page; you stay in control of every message.
How to send well
Send the first message as soon as the programme is ready, so that people can plan travel and leave. Send a short reminder the day before, and a gentle one on the morning of the event with the QR code or link. Keep the message short, put the link on its own line so it is easy to tap, and always say who the message is from. For a funeral, lead with warmth and the practical details rather than the programme features, and never send a message that looks like marketing to a grieving family.
Privacy
The names and numbers you paste stay in your browser and are never sent to Ikhaya. When you open WhatsApp or your mail app, you are handing the message to that app on your own device, exactly as if you had typed it yourself.
